Publications on NEW SPEAKERS

My work focuses on the revitalization and transformation of minority languages, many of which face unprecedented pressure from a whole host of factors, both external and internal to the speech communities.

I have been particularly influenced by the work of researchers such as Monica Heller, Alexandra Jaffe, John Edwards, Bernie O'Rourke and James Costa and their approaches to language minoritization in the 21st century.
